Oasis Focuser Rose is the second generation of the Astroasis electronic focuser. On the basis of the first generation, the second generation has made important improvements and is a perfect electronic focuser for astrophotography.

Introduction:

1、Convenient power supply — It can be powered by either the USB Type-C port or the 12V DC port.
2、Stall detection— Motor stall detection feature prevents the telescope focuser and the gears from being damaged in case the telescope focuser moves out of the minimum or maximum range or in other cases that are not expected.
 
 
3、Built-in heating module — The built-in heating module allows the focuser to work in low ambient temperature conditions for North China, Europe, North America users when capturing in winters. The heating module can be controlled at a constant temperature when heating so it's easy to use.
4、Gear locator— The gear locator helps user to install the gear in the right place.

5、Improved reliability — Motor is upgraded to improve reliability. PCB is re-desigened to improve reliability of power module, USB/DC/Temperature sockets etc.

Shopping Guide:

An important feature of the Oasis Focuser is that the main assembly and the clamp are separated. By using different clamps Oasis Focuser can be installed on a variety of telescopes. Not only can it be installed directly with a clamp, but it can also be installed on various models of telescope focusers via customized adapters.
 
For the Celestron telescopes, Oasis Focuser Rose can be installed with a clamp and the celestron adapter. Please order the corresponding option according to your telescopes/focusers.

As shown in the following picture, the diameter of the focusing shaft of C11/C14 has two size, ie., 21.8mm and 22mm. We made two different knobs for them accordingly. So CSA1114 has two sub-types, one is CSA1114A, and the other is CSA1114B. CSA1114A is for 21.8mm shaft, and CSA1114B is for 22mm shaft.

Oasis Focuser main body can be easily installed or uninstalled with a clamp. The main body can be shared between different telescopes in a easy way, which saves money for you. The appearance of the adapter is also beautiful. Even when the main body is removed, the knob can still be used, and the appearance of the adapter is still very beautiful.

Auto-focus curve graphs:

Oasis Focuser uses gears instead of coupling and has good rigidity, which helps to achieve excellent backlash compensation performance and focusing accuracy. On most telescopes, each motor step moves less than 1μm distance and has high precision.
 
 
 
Here are graphs of the auto-focus curve we got by running 12 consecutive auto-focus sessions using NINA. The telescope used is SkyRover 102 APO Pro. As we can see the focus positions after each auto-focus are very close, with the minimum position being 39582 and the maximum position being 39593. On the SkyRover 102 APO, the moving distance of each motor step is 0.8μm. So the maximum position deviation between each of the 12 consecutive auto-focus is less than 9μm. All the hyperbolic fitting coefficient of determination (R2) are above 0.99, indicating that the focusing results have high stability and accuracy.
